Scranton Children Photography
April 9th

Well I know you all know that I shoot weddings and seniors.

But did you know I also shoot children?

I love kids, since I have 3 and another on the way I guess you can see that.

The thing to remember is that custom professional photography of your precious children does not happen at your local mall, Walmart, or JC Penney. It happens when you hire a true professional photographer.

The image below is not something you can get in front of a tie-dyed background in some retail shop somewhere. Capturing the look of contentment as the little girl sniffs her first flower of spring as the cool breeze rustles through her hair cannot be replicated in a harsh studio environment. You’ve got to go out on location and let the moments unfold before your lens. That’s what I do. No rushing, no forced smiles, no phoniness. Just true beauty. I hope you can see the difference.

To book your Spring session now call me at 570-592-2938. I’d love to get your little one in front of my lens and create a piece of art for you. Don’t wait.

O Christmas Tree! – Scranton Wedding Photographer
December 22nd

It is a well known fact that I love Christmas. Always have, always will. So I thought that it would be nice to give you all a glimpse at a little bit of our Christmas celebration. I bring you details of our tree. Keep in mind that some of these ornaments, like the Mrs. Claus are older than me. So there are a lot of Christmas memories, old and new tied into our tree, as I’m sure there are in yours. Enjoy. And Merry Christmas!

Photo Of The Year! – Scranton Photographer
December 14th

Throughout the years the photographers working at National Geographic have consistently brought us incredible images of faraway places and people, showing us amazing details of life around the globe. Every year Nat Geo has a photo contest, and this year the winners will be announced tomorrow, December 15. Here are a few of the finalist photos that stood out to me, and I must admit, I am irritated that I didn’t take any of them. Enjoy!

This last one is taken after the floooding in Pakistan in 2010. Millions of spiders climbed up into the trees to escape the rising flood waters. Pretty much freaked me out too.
